Usage of internet is increasing day by day. Almost every home in the world has computer and it is used for accessing internet mostly for communication or acquiring information. Internet has becoming the major source of acquiring information, shopping, education, research work, music, movies ,social networking and most of all communication through email, chat etc.
People are mad about social networking websites like orkutor and facebook and the internet is bridging up the distances between different people of different continents.
As internet usage grows, the importance of management of information grows. For example, information over the internet to access email accounts, social networking websites, bank accounts, shopping websites etc. Information which is used over such websites is mostly user names, passwords or Ids. This secret information is of great importance as one cannot access any email or other accounts without it and cannot afford to loose it. Either it should be remembered or should be saved where it is secured and can be accessed with ease.
There are programs available which save your private information but they are just good for your own Pc. You cannot access that information from any other computer. Saving such information on web based information or password management tool is more effective.
Web based management tools are accessible from any where. There is almost no chance for losing such important information on web based management tools. However, if you are using computer software as your password management tool there is chance that you computer may crash and you may never get what you have saved onto your computer.
